Introduction

Retailers can extend the items they sell on their webshop through our longtail solutions. We also refer to this as "Endless Aisle".

There are 2 main use-cases for E-com longtail:

1. Retailer runs out of stock on website, and shows the brands stock directly on the website. When the end-user places an order, the order is directly forwarded to Fashion Cloud and then the brand.
2. Retailer sells a brand’s articles on website they have never had in stock before.

The basic flow of data is as such:

• Brand sends article/images/stock data to Fashion Cloud
• Retailer adds items to his Webshop/ERP
• Webshop/ERP gets article/image/stock data from Fashion Cloud
• Webshop/ERP places order on Fashion Cloud
• Fashion Cloud sends order to brand
• Brand sends items to retailer
• Brand potentially also sends orderrsp and desadv to retailer for easy handling
