1. Introduction

The stock import is a regular import that feeds into our different products (Clara, Order Area, Sales Dashboard).

We support different formats, but below you can find our standard CSV format that's easy to import and makes for the fastest implementation.

If it includes the same information, we can also handle an XML format, and either work with files on our/your FTP or connect to APIs / fetch from URLs.

2. Stock import features

2.1 Configuration possibilities

• Import interval - Sets the minute interval to check for new stock files to import. We can do anything from every 5 minutes to every day.

For Clara and Order Area, we are able to separately manage how stocks are displayed and used:

• Stock limit (optional) - Sets the maximum visible and orderable stock level
• Safety stock (optional) - Fashion Cloud can set this value to only show stock when it's above this level.

These configurations are set by Fashion Cloud staff and will be discussed during the onboarding.
