Receiving Sales data via EDI

1. Introduction

The sales importer is being used to track daily sales at the retailer. Fashion Cloud supports FTP and Email to receive Edifact sales data from the retailer.

2. File Transfer

2.1 FTP

We prefer the sales reports to be sent to us through FTP. This can be done by the retailer or their ERP system.

Fashion Cloud will set up an FTP account per retailer and provide you with the login credentials (host, username and password). Upon request, this can also be an SFTP connection.

Upload the files to : uploads/sales

2.2 Email

2.2.1 Sent from a unique e-mail address

By a unique e-mail address, we mean a unique e-mail address that contains elements to identify a specific retailer.

If the retailer has this option, the sales report can be sent by email to : [email protected]

2.2.2 Sent from an ERP / EDI Clearingcenter / via a generic e-mail address

By a generic e-mail address we mean an e-mail address with no unique elements we can use to identify a specific retailer. In case of using an ERP or an EDI Clearingcenter this could apply.

If the retailer has this option, the Inventory report must be sent by email to : [email protected]

Some examples of EDI Clearingcenters: BTE, BEDEBE, Fashion United

2.3 Pranke

Send the data to Fashion Cloud’s Pranke account : [email protected]

3 File requirements

We are following the following guidelines and conventions as set by GS1. See: https://www.gs1.org/standards/edi-xml-gs1-eancom/eancom-slsrpt-s3/syntax-3
