Fashion Cloud’s Store Locator widget is designed to enable your shoppers to find articles from your E-com site in stores near them. This can be particularly useful whether the item they are interested in is out-of-stock online, or if they would simply like to try the article in-store before buying. The Store Locator helps maximize purchases of your products for both you and your retailers.
In order to enable the Store Locator experience, we ask you to complete a few simple tests to integrate an iframe into a modal. The iframe requires you to pass a few basic attributes (article the user is viewing, user’s language, etc).
Once implemented, we (i.e. Fashion Cloud) will be responsible for rendering the Store Locator experience you will embed into the modal.
The first step of integrating the Store Locator is to place the Store Locator button on the PDP. We encourage you to place the Store Locator button where you wish and to customize the look & feel of this button to best fit the design of your site.
Once the button is clicked, we ask that you please open a modal. This will be the modal that will house the Store Locator experience.
While the modal does not require a max width, we do ask that you please set a minimum width for the modal.
This will ensure the Store Locator experience can be fully displayed to the user (without the need to scroll).
Within the modal you just created for Step #2, please embed the Store Locator’s iframe link.
