Introduction

In the standard setup, OrderWriter will export an order-file and pricat file. The order file will reference articles in the pricat file based on an EAN code. The EAN-code can be a supplier barcode, or an in-house barcode in a predefined range (often 2015xxx).

About the pricat file

The pricat file contains all information necessary for creation of an article in the ERP.

The data is a mix of values entered by the user, as well as predefined values coming from the masterdata.

In the masterdata file, we have predefined types like comp01, comp02, comp03. These fields will be exported in a predefined column, as mentioned in the documentation. This helps a flexible setup where the ERP system understands which data is coming in, without a setup per retail-customer.
